The details of this review could have implications for many local authorities, including Neath Port Talbot.
Incidentally, I see that there is a proposal to make it easier for grandparents to have legal access to their grandchildren, where there has been a divorce.
Perhaps this simplified procedure should be extended to cases where a child has been taken into care because of perceived shortcomings on the part of the parent(s).
