That was posted by Richie or Jean! I've tried to avoid commenting on specific candidates in the US elections. Remember how the London Guardian's anti-Bush campaign backfired?
Yes, it was me who posted the video Frank. I think its a little too late to worry about influencing American Politics. As Lord Denning once famously remarked:
"Its 350 years and a civil war too late!"
He was obviously referring to the English Civil War but the quote is very apt for this situation.
Having said that we would be better off with a Republican than a Democrat as next president of the US (because a Democrat is going to be more protectionist, and would pander to the "black" vote by going soft on Mugabe), I have now changed my mind.
John McCain has established himself as the Republican front-runner and seems likely to garner the votes of Giuliani, who has now dropped out. McCain wants to bomb Iran, which even the somewhat militaristic Hillary Clinton has stopped short of calling for.
So, I hope to organise another exercise in writing letters to Clark County, demanding that they vote for McCain. ;-) Frank Little
