Lab 329 (+ 57) 21.322% (+ 5.093%)
UKIP 66 (+ 66) 4.277% (+ 4.277%)
Turnout 30% (-2.26%) 133 less valid votes

LIB DEM GAIN (from Con) - MAJ 60

Local activist Lorna Spenceley points to a massive drop in the Tory vote: a huge blow to the party in one of its very top national target parliamentary seats.

Also significant is the poor showing of UKIP.

If UKIP had not stood, their votes would probably have gone to the Tories. Just as well they stood then.
