Nick Clegg and Vince Cable launch UK manifesto

Liberal Democrat Leader Nick Clegg today launched his party’s General Election manifesto, setting out four clear priorities of fair taxes, a fair chance for every child, a fair economy, and a fair deal by cleaning up politics.

In presenting the section of the manifesto dealing with the economy, Vince Cable emphasised that, in contrast to the other parties' programmes, it was fully costed. Liberal Democrats were being honest with the electorate.
